Absa, Botswana Chamber of Mines have collaborated with Progressive Institute (PI), an event organising company to host Botswana Mining Show 2025.
Slated for the 21st to 23rd October, the event is expected to attract over 10,000 participants, making it the largest and most influential gatherings on the country’s mining calendar.
The mining event to be hosted under the banner: ‘A New Era in Mining’ aligns closely with the government’s national vision of driving economic transformation, citizen empowerment, and sustainable employment creation.
In addition, the event offers a dynamic platform for Batswana to explore opportunities across the entire mining value chain and to participate meaningfully in this critical sector of our economy.
Organiser of the event Progressive Institute’s Chief Executive Officer, Mmoloki Mmolotsi said the event aims to unlock tangible economic opportunities through targeted empowerment initiatives, investment matchmaking, and capacity-building engagements designed to promote growth and inclusivity within the mining industry.
